Summer is nearly here, and even though a number of women and men are hitting the gym and eating a strict diet to look good their bathing suits, others are turning to their plastic surgeons for some extra help. A plastic surgeon based in Manhattan recently reported this time of year is the most popular for less-invasive procedures.
"Less-invasive procedures have become incredibly popular. Most of my patients are busy people and are always looking for more results and less down-time," said the New York-based plastic surgeon. "And, there's no time of year when patients are more interested than right now."
The most popular non-invasive procedure is Botox, but some may want a bit more to help them look their best.
Although a number of people are opting for less-invasive procedures, it is not too late to undergo a tummy tuck procedure or liposuction to get that desired look. According to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the majority of those who undergo a tummy tuck procedure can resume normal activities after two to three weeks – giving the individual plenty of time for fun in the sun with their new bod.
